| Older pets require special care. Did you know that an
animal may not show any symptoms of kidney disease until it has lost 75%
of its kidney function?
Older pets should be examined by a veterinarian at least twice a year. In addition, we recommend screening bloodwork to rule out in any kidney or liver dysfunction, as well as thyroid and diabetes screenings. Older pets should also have regular eye exams. Older pets may also have special dietary needs as recommended by the veterinarian. |
